Rest in peace my Dear Friend Victor, no more loud chaotic environment and blinding lights left on above our heads late into the night, rest in peace, and quiet, at last.
I hadn't seen Victor in years, though spoke with him on the phone and sent messages often.
We "lived" next door to each other for years.
I know we all make mistakes and often are NOT what we are made out to be or perceived as by others.
Victor was a gentle man, and we spent much time together and I enjoyed the years we did have because true friends like Victor makes all the difference in life wherever it is we find ourselves.
Victor was a quality person and a good hearted person who regretted everyday any and every mistake he ever made. I personally believe he should have had the opportunity for a real life again as I have now that is incredibly blessed, if nothing else, by freedom.
Victor you have that freedom now.
You leave an emptiness in my heart in you absence, but I know that if we are one in the Lord, and that where He is, we are, and if we are indeed one in Spirit and One in the body of Christ - then I know this:
When I'm feeling like we're apart
I'll simply rest my hand upon my heart
And maybe on this day you will too
And you'll find me,
and I'll find you.
Until then my brother.
I love you.
Paul.
