Dear Hughes Family,
It is with heartfelt & sincere condolences that we send our prayers & love to you in the loss of your mother, Mary. She was a devoted Southern lady, wife, mother & friend to you & to us as her friends. I had an added connection to Mary when I offered to assist in writing up Celeste's wedding & we had fun doing that - she was very dear to me & the love was mutual in work & socially especially with church music. She loved her family, her church, her friends, Louisburg College & her life with sharing & serving others. She has been so missed by the Golden Agers Council at LC but she is with the Heavenly Host & her & our Father in Heaven. God bless you in this particular time.

Mary was a true Christian lady in every way... in the way she treated others and how she lived daily. She was such a fine, caring, and giving person. She will be missed by all who knew her.
