I am so very sorry to hear what happened. Louis was a good man and loved his family and everybody else, especially children. He will be missed greatly. Charlene, please know that I love you and you have never been far from my thoughts through the years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you go through this time.

I got to see you move into a community and make it your home. I got to see you join a church and support it. I got to see you love your family and remember it. I got to see you and my daddy become friends and I learned from it. Your last thing you did for me and my family was give Terry Gosnell Tharrington and me a glass of water while I was in the receiving line at my mama's funeral. But that was Lewis and I learned how to be a better man watching YOU! Thank you Lewis.

It is hard to imagine life at Hickory Rick Baptist Church without Louis. We send our love and prayers to Charlene, Louis Jr, Kim, Kevin and all the kids. We are grateful for the times we have shared with Louis and his family over the past 15 years. We have been so blessed by his friendship.
