I had the honor of knowing Mr Elton though my wife and being a member of FFWB church for a number of years. Not only did I hold him in high respect for his service to this great country during WWII, but every time he hugged my children, his hand reached into his pocket for a sweet piece of Butterscotch candy to say how much he loved them. He will be greatly by the Champion family.

Elton was one of the many special Price siblings. He was always so gracious, respectful and honorable. I will always treasure the closeness and love that was shared when the brothers would get together and, Oh, My, how special they treated Mrs. Lizzie. He will surely be missed, but he has so lived a life that deserves the glory of heaven and the reunion with his many family members. He is the type of hero that is a vanishing breed. Love to all of the family.

Sandi & Family,
Please know that our thoughts & prayers go with you and your Family during this sad and difficult time. I know that Mike and I will NEVER forget meeting you, your Dad and his brothers back in 2013 at the Raleigh-Durham Airport, as we were welcoming the return of Veterans arriving from their visit to all of the monuments in Washington, DC. It was such a pleasure to get to meet your Dad and Uncles -- such great men and such great stories they have told of their time serving our Country in WWII. God Bless you ALL! May your Dad rest-in-peace.
