YVONNE H. EDWARDS

March 23, 1942 – December 12, 2021

FRANKLINTON – Yvonne “Bonnie” Harris Edwards, 79, of Franklinton, died Sunday afternoon after an extended illness.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond E. and Elsie S. Harris. She was a retired school teacher and her main focus was on her family and her students. She enjoyed reading and seeing historical sites. 

A graveside service will be held 3 pm Thursday December 16, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. The Family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Hoyt Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Johannah Edwards of Franklinton; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Ryan Raynor of Louisburg; sister, Dolores H. Wilkinson of Oxford; grandchildren, Casson Raynor, Liam “Fox” Edwards and Zachary Raynor.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Franklinton U.M.C., Repairs Fund, 109 N. Main Street, Franklinton, NC 27525.
