Willie Arnold

BUNN - Willie Junior Arnold, 72, of Bunn, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at his home.

Willie was a son of the late W. Cearnes and Mary Helen W. Arnold.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Alford.

Willie was an Army Veteran. He owned and operated Arnold’s Service Station in Bunn and was a retired firefighter with the Bunn Fire Department. 

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Willie is survived by his wife of 38 years, JoAnn F. Arnold; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin J. and Ashley G. Arnold; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gordon Layton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Nelson and Evon Arnold; Donald Ray and Connie Arnold; grandchildren, Avery Arnold and Lilly Arnold; many nieces and nephews. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rock Spring Baptist Church, 34 Rock Spring Church Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549 or the Bunn Fire Department, P.O. Box 74, Bunn, NC 27508.
