WILLIAM “BILL” ADAMS

July 15, 1944 – Nov. 24, 2018

WENDELL – William “Bill” Adams, 74, died Saturday morning at his home.  He was a son of the late Melvin and Lottie Adams.  Bill retired with the NC Dept. of Corrections and was a veteran of the US Army.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Adams and step mother, Frances Adams.

          Funeral service will be held 3 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Central Baptist Church with visitation in the fellowship hall 1:00 – 2:45 pm.  Burial in the church cemetery.

          He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn N. Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Kevin Webb; grandchildren Ashlyn & Austin Webb; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Pete Medlin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sherwood and Annette Adams, Ricky and Paula Adams; step-sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jo and Hugh Hargett , Ann and Jerry Hall; several nieces and nephews.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Central Baptist Church Vision Fund, 11109 Poole Rd., Wendell, NC 27591or to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E. Ohio St., Suite 500, Chicago, ILL 60611.
