W. Randall Saunders

LOUISBURG - Elder William Randall Saunders, 75, of Louisburg, died Wednesday morning.

Randall was born and raised in the Draper Community of Rockingham County to the late Willie and Lois M. Saunders. He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Donald Gilland and his sister, Brenda Kay S. Bare.

Randall served as Elder of Healthy Plains Primitive Baptist Church for over 30 years and other Primitive Baptist Churches before that. He also worked part time at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory for over 16 years and was a Certified Crematory Operator. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Danview Cemetery in Eden, North Carolina.

Randall is survived by his sister, Sandra Saunders of Greensboro.
