VIRGINIA P. WHELESS
January 28, 1933 – August 26, 2025
LOUISBURG – Virginia Pearce Wheless, 92, of Louisburg, passed away Tuesday evening.
Virginia was the daughter of the late John Omega and Blanche Davis Pearce. She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Wheless; sisters, Mary Ussery, Annie High, Pattie Perry, Grey Baker; brothers, Rupert Pearce, Ben Pearce, John Pearce, Joe Pearce, Lee Pearce, Roger Pearce, Louis Pearce, Howard Pearce and Bill Pearce.
Virginia was a dedicated member of Bunn Baptist Church. She was involved in many of the church activities before her health declined.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at Bunn Baptist Church with Rev. Tyler Fink and Rev. Tom Eldridge officiating. The family will receive friends 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. A private family burial will follow in the Wheless Family Cemetery.
Virginia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Wheless; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Mike Collins; grandchildren, Brandon (Kristen) Wheless; Josh (Sarah) Wheless; great-grandchildren, Henry, Claire and Jules; many nieces and nephews.
