BUNN, NC - Vicky Denton, 75, of Bunn, NC passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Born February 1, 1949, Vicky lived a joyful life of service and sacrifice. She taught countless students, encouraged fellow faculty, gave her time and talents to her local church, and faithfully loved her family day in and out. She brought joy to so many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Rebecca Baker.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Van Denton; her children, Patrick Denton and wife Beryal of Raleigh; Aaron Denton and his wife Ami of Littleton; Justin Denton and his wife Bethany of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Emma Denton, Brooke Denton, Abigail Denton, Hannah Ryan, Savannah Denton, Laine Denton, Noah Denton, Remy Denton, Breck Denton, and Parker Denton; and her brother, Donald Baker.

Funeral services will be held at Rock Spring Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 10th at 2pm. Visitation will begin at 12:45pm prior to the service. Due to parking limitations, the family will have a private graveside service.
