LOUISBURG – Valentin Martinez Meza, 64, of Louisburg, died Thursday morning at his home.

Valentin was born in Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Meza and his brother, Fernando Meza.

The family will receive friends 4 – 6 pm Friday, July 30 at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.

Valentin is survived by his wife Shirley Meza; daughters, Annie Meza, Stacy and Scott Wade; son, Tony Meza, Jr. and step-son, Feliciano (Ashley) Velazquez; mother Rosa Elva Martinez Meza; brothers, Juan (Manuela) Meza; Jesus Meza, Jr. and Edward Meza; sisters, Argelia (Guillermo) Meza and Rosa Meza; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
