Timothy Wilson Hodge
October 27, 1958 - December 27, 2024
Hodge, as he was known to his friends, went into the afterlife December 27, 2024 just two days after his beloved dog Gator passed away.
He will be fishing by the crystal sea when his mother Jaqueline Pearce, daughter Melinda Hodge, and many friends arrive there. He was a true friend that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Like all the rest of us he made mistakes along his journey but he had long ago accepted Jesus and was baptized into the Christian faith. He detested and repented of his sins. He was born and spent his early years in upstate South Carolina, later moving to NC where he spent years working as a painter, builder, plumber and jack of all trades. If you needed help you could call on him. He loved the outdoors, its creatures and its plants. He had a green thumb. You could find him outside in all weather. He was rugged, tough and resilient. He was a master fisherman who never wanted a catch to go to waste. If it wasn’t going to be eaten it was returned to the water. His normal disposition was happy and upbeat. He gave good advice if you asked for it. His passing leaves a hole for his friends who will miss his phone calls, his companionship and his long scruffy hair and beard. He will be sorely missed.
