STANLEY J. COLBERT

November 15, 1952 – October 5, 2023

Stanley Johnson Colbert, 70, of Castalia, passed away Thursday evening at his home.

Stanley was a son of the late John “Jack” and Susie P. Colbert. He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna C. Sutton; brothers, Maurice Colbert, Wallace Colbert, J. W. Colbert and Richard Colbert.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Yvonne Colbert; daughter, Becky Colbert; sisters, Minnie C. Wilson and Evelyn C. Jones; brother, Jerry Colbert (Donna); several nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bud Baptist Church at 832 NC Hwy. 58, Castalia, NC 27816.
