LOUISBURG – Shirley Jenkins Meza, 69, of Louisburg, died Wednesday morning at her home.

Shirley was a daughter of the late Jacob Clifton and Mary Elizabeth G. Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Thompson, sister, Teri Jenkins and her brother, Ike Jenkins.

The family will receive friends 2 – 3:30 pm Friday, January 7 at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Annie Meza (Chris DeCamp); sons, Lewis Thompson; Feliciano (Ashley) Velazquez; sisters, Gail Apac and Juanita Jenkins; brothers, David (Debbie) Jenkins; J.J. (Beverly) Jenkins; grandchildren, Monica, Stephanie, Micheala, Tyler, Shannon, Kaleb, Rowan, Xander, Michael, Jaeden and Cole; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ben, Beau, Rosey, Mila and Cora.
