Shelba Jean House Smith

Shelba Jean House Smith, 86, of Castalia, passed away Sunday evening at WakeMed.

Shelba was the daughter of the late Henry Coplin and Dorothy Cornelia House. She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Smith, and son Chuck Best. She was a faithful member of White Level Baptist Church for many years.

Shelba is survived by her loving Boston Terrier companion, Lucy.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Lancaster Memorial Park. She will lie in repose at the funeral home from 12 - 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to White Level Baptist Church, 2400 White Level Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
