December 17, 1933 – January 20, 2023
LOUISBURG – Rosa Medlin Finch, 89, of Louisburg, died Friday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Tootie was a daughter of the late W.E. “Buck” and Bertie A. Medlin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey T. Green; sisters, Aileen Dickerson and Rebecca “Pete” Pernell; brother, John Medlin.
Tootie and her husband, Thomas own and operate Brodie Jones Print Shop & Finch’s Print Shop in Henderson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Tootie is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas Finch; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Pete Ayscue; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Joy Thorne; sister, Ann M. Ayscue; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. William “Baldy” and Tessie Medlin; Jimmy and Hilda Medlin; grandchildren, Rodney Ayscue; Kelvin (Ashley) Ayscue; Kacy (Tony) Tavera; Kyle (Amanda) Green; great-grandchildren, Justin, Victoria, Riley, Mia, Jaxon and Molly; great-great-grandchild, Blaze; many nieces and nephews.
