December 25, 1968 – July 20, 2023

ZEBULON – Rodney Bass, 54, of Zebulon, passed away Thursday morning.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Earl Bass; and brothers, Ricky Sanders and Randy Sanders.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at East Wake Church of God on Tuesday, July 25. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Patricia Sanders Bailey of Middlesex; daughter Sara Beth of Elm City; sisters Angela Bass of Zebulon, Alisha VanLandingham (Patrick) of Wilson, Jan Bailey of Zebulon, Jamie Vanderpool (Greg) of Wilson, and Denise Davis of Wilson; brother Jesse Bailey of Zebulon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
