Robert Wayne Ayscue, 72, of Louisburg, passed away Tuesday morning at his home.

Robert was born in Vance County to the late Robert Lee Ayscue. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn W. Ayscue; sister, Shirley Blackley and brothers, Chuck Ayscue and Peter Root Ayscue.

Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, August 8, 2025 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra C. Ayscue; mother, Cora P. Creekmore; step-daughter, Jeanie Turner; step-son, Glenn Dickerson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Angie Ayscue; Pete and Debbie Ayscue; Jerome and Amanda Creekmore; Kenneth Ayscue; step-brother, Keith Taylor; step-sisters, Carolyn Morales; Frances and Phillip Hunt; Theresa and Glenn Satterwhite; mother in-law, Irene Horton; brothers in-law, Larry Blackley; Robert Crabtree and Daniel Crabtree; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Weathersby, Deborah Dickerson, Bonnie and Danny Gay, Rachel Wall.
