ROBERT H. GORDY, Sr.

June 10, 1937 – May 7, 2025

Robert “Bob” Hershel Gordy, Sr., 87, of Warrenton, passed away Wednesday morning at his home.

Bob was the son of the late Robert Lee Gordy and Elizabeth Reynolds Gordy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Gordy; daughter, Debra Mendoza; sisters Hazel Wigglesworth, Wanda Arnold, Alene Turner, and Joyce Lee Gordy; and brothers Ralph Gordy, Melvin Gordy, and Everett Gordy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Viki Lee Jeffords and husband Darryl, of Warrenton; grandson, Dylan Robert Jeffords; best friend and brother, Jesse Ray Wiggs; brother Michael Phillips Wiggs (Jean); and sister, Kaye Manning.
