ROBERT E. SMITH, JR.
June 21, 1954 – June 7, 2018
CASTALIA – Robert “Bob” Eugene Smith, Jr., 63, of Castalia, died Thursday evening at his home.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retired pipe fitter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Pat Smith, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Verna Lee Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Paul Hellberg; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Celeste Smith, III; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Jimmy Glenn; Debbie and Carl Christie; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Patty Smith; grandchildren, Brycen, Paul III, Justice, Ollie Elaine and Abby; father-in-law, Stanley B. Werline; many spare children and grandchildren.
The family will have a service at a later date.
