ROBERT “BOB” CHRISTIAN

January 12, 1945 – April 4, 2025

Robert (Bob) Lynn Christian, 80, of Zebulon, passed away Friday morning at WakeMed in Raleigh.  Bob was a retired Lieutenant with the Raleigh Fire Department and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  Bob  had a special love for animals, especially horses and dogs.

          He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Leon and Mary Rose Jones Christian, and 2 sisters and a brother.

          Robert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Elaine Moss Christian; sister, Rosemary Eason and numerous nieces and nephews.

          A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 10 followed by Raleigh Fire Department Honors at 2:15 pm in the Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 103 W. Franklin Street, Louisburg

            In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Raleigh Fire Museum, 105 Keeter Center Dr., Raleigh, NC 27601
