ROBERT CORRADO, SR.

March 5, 1943 – March 25, 2025

Robert Corrado, Sr., 82, of Louisburg, formerly of New York, passed away Tuesday morning. 

          Robert was a son of the late Joseph and Tessie Poggioli Corrado, He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Corrado.

           After graduating high school he served in the U.S. Coast Guard and then went on to be an HVAC technician.

          A funeral mass will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.

          Robert is survived by his wife, Gina Corrado; son, Robert Corrado, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Ross Nanfro; former wife and mother of his children, Carmela Corrado-Gallo; grandchildren, Andrew, Logan and Madison Nanfro; special niece Lisa Monteforte and her husband, Lenny; great nephew, Zach Monteforte; numerous nieces and nephews.

            In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Shore Animal League America, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050.

          The family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
