Ricky Lee Horton, 59, of Franklinton, passed away Wednesday morning at WakeMed.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lee Horton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Horton of Franklinton; sons, Daniel Beasley of Franklinton and James “Matt” Beasley of Zebulon; his mother, Mary Horton of Louisburg; brother, Kenneth Edward Horton and wife Janice Lynn Horton of Alabama; granddaughter, Payten Beasley; niece, Izabella Lynn Horton; and nephew, Kenneth James Horton.
