Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and laughter.  A 25-year veteran of the EMT and firefighting community, he dedicated his life to protecting others.  His courage and commitment earned him numerous honors, including multiple Firefighter of the Year awards.  All the while servicing his community as an HVAC professional for over 30 years.

He was married to the love of his life, Faye Morgan, in a bond that was steadfast and true, a love story that became the foundation of their family showing the power of soulmates.  He was a devoted and steady presence in the lives of those he loved,  An avid outdoorsman, Richard spent countless hours fishing and hunting.  Though he held a lifetime hunting license and never missed a season, he was known--much to the amusement of his family--for never shooting a deer.  His love for the outdoors was matched by his passion for tinkering.  Richard had a unique talent for collecting and reviving broken-down lawn mowers, often turning his yard into a graveyard of engines with potential and promise,  He will be remembered not only for his service and strength but also for his humor, humility, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.  He will be deeply missed and forever cherished..
