REX DAVID WEATHERSBY

February 10, 1946 – April 18, 2020

LOUISBURG – Rex David Weathersby, 74, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning.

David was the son of the late Rex Clayton Weathersby and Annie May S. Weathersby. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Smith.

He was an Army Paratrooper in the Vietnam War.

A private funeral service will be held Tuesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rolesville Baptist Church Cemetery.

David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Evelyn C. Weathersby; daughter, Fonda Burke.
