FRANKLINTON – Rebecca “Becky” Myers Watson, 81, of Franklinton, died Saturday afternoon.

Becky was a daughter of the late Woodrow Allen and Gracie Ford Myers. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl R. “Bo” Watson; sister, Elizabeth Thomas; brothers, Allen Myers, Ben Myers and George Myers.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Becky is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Watson of Franklinton; James Watson of Louisburg; daughter, Jennie Smith of Louisburg; sister, Louise Mangum of Henderson; brother, William Ford of Denver, CO; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild.
