Raymond Alton Thomasson, Jr., 63, of Middlesex, passed away Monday morning at WakeMed.

Raymond was the son of Raymond Alton Thomasson, Sr. and Geraldine Lumley. He was preceded in death by his father.

A funeral service will be held at MidPoint Church in Middlesex on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM prior to the service.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Danielle Long; son, Anthony Thomasson; daughter, Brittany Thomasson; mother, Geraldine Lumley; sisters, Renee McCrea and Michelle Nealy; granddaughter, Peighton Thomasson; and several nieces and nephews.
