RACHEL P. FAULKNER

August 4, 1943 – May 8, 2024

Rachel Pendergrass Faulkner, 81, of Castalia, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Rachel was the daughter of the late Monie Lee Pendergrass and Pearl Leigh Pendergrass. She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Faulkner and daughter, Patricia Turner.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Eatmon officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held at the Faulkner Family Cemetery.

Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, David G. Faulkner; children Joyce Williams (Scott), David Faulkner (Rhonda), Maurice Faulkner (Kitty), Rachel Braswell, Lisa Satterwhite (Dennis), Glen Faulkner (Rebekah), and Jasmine Wilder; brothers Tony Pendergrass and John Pendergrass; sisters Corann Creekmore and Dorothy Ayscue; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
