PATRICIA S. BAILEY

February 10, 1947 – December 21, 2023

Patricia Sanders Bailey, 76, formerly of Middlesex went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening December 21, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Nash County, a daughter of the late Hubert Edward Sanders and Dorothy Hopkins Sanders.  In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Sanders, Randy Sanders and Rodney Bass, brother Glenn Sanders.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Midpoint Church, Middlesex. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

 Patricia is survived by her daughters, Angela Bass of Zebulon, Alisha Van Landingham (Patrick) of Wilson, Jan Richardson (Johnny) of Zebulon and Jamie Vanderpool (Greg) of Wilson; son, Jesse Bailey of Zebulon; sister, Carolyn Reid of Sims; brothers, Kenneth Sanders (Jean) of Middlesex and Ronnie Sanders (Nancy) of Knightdale; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Jan Richardson, 1206 Water Plant Rd., Zebulon on Thursday, December 28, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and on Friday, December 29, from 2:00 – 9:00 pm. The will also receive friends at the house following the service on Saturday.
