MITCHELL W. WRENN
May 28, 1962 – Dec. 9, 2021
Mitchell Wayne Wrenn, 59, of Zebulon, died peacefully Thursday night at his home surrounded by his family. Mitchell was the son of the late Calvin Fletcher Wrenn and Rachel Page Wrenn. He was the owner of Wrenn’s Farm and Greenhouses where he grew vegetables and strawberries, but one of his greatest joys was talking with all his customers. Mitchell loved to hunt, fish, and especially flounder gigging.
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Union Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the home.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Richardson Wrenn; sons, Austin Wrenn and wife Christina and Ethan Wrenn; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their assistance and care during Mitchell’s illness.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the NC Strawberry Association or other charity in his memory.
Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
