MINNIE C. WILSON

August 7, 1943 – September 5, 2024

Minnie Colbert Wilson, 81, of Castalia, passed away Thursday morning at her home.

Minnie was a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Susie P. Colbert. She was preceded in death by her sister, Edna C. Sutton; brothers, Maurice Colbert, Wallace Colbert, J. W. Colbert, Richard Colbert and Stanley Colbert.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Red Bud Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Minnie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Les and Kristy Wilson of Knightdale; sister, Evelyn C. Jones; brother, Jerry Colbert (Donna); sister-in-law, Yvonne Colbert; grandson, Michael (Katie) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Aubree; several nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bud Baptist Church at 832 NC Hwy. 58, Castalia, NC 27816.
