MILDRED G. ROBERSON

February 27, 1928 – June 10, 2021

LOUISBURG – Mildred Green Smith Roberson, 93, of Louisburg, died Thursday morning.

Mrs. Roberson was a daughter of the late Jim Wiley Smith and Lucy Tharrington Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roberson; sister, Margie Billings and her brothers, James W. Smith, Jr. and Donald Ray Smith.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mrs. Roberson is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne and JoAnn Roberson; Curtis D. Roberson all of Louisburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Avis Mae and Graham Pernell; Evelyn Marie and Joe Pernell all of Louisburg; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Cherry Smith of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Shelly Ann Pearson and her husband, Rod; Doug Roberson and his wife, Tara; Steven Roberson and his wife, Karen; Angel Roberson and Mary Ellen Roberson; 11 great-grandchildren.
