Melissa F. Peebles

Melissa Faye Peebles, 60, of Bethel, formerly of Wendell, died Thursday evening, December 15, 2022 at ECU Health in Greenville.

A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Libby Peebles and a 1980 Graduate of East Wake High School. Melissa loved animals, was a dedicated fan of The Blenders and was a talented artist, often gifting her work to family and friends.

Melissa is survived by her brother, Mark T. Peebles and his wife, Karen of Wake Forest; her longtime partner, Joe Weeks of Bethel as well as many beloved cousins.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Wendell Christian Church, 421 Mattox Street, Wendell, NC 27591. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery.
