MAXINE D. STROTHER
August 26, 1930 – June 22, 2022
LOUISBURG – Maxine Denton Strother, 91, of Louisburg, died Wednesday morning.
A native of Franklin County, Maxine was a daughter of the late Luther and Zelma Fuller Denton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Lea Marshall.
Maxine was a lifelong member of Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church. She loved to work in her yard, her flower beds and enjoyed going out to eat with her friends.
A funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, June 27, 2022 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be private at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Maxine is survived by her son, Anthony Strother; brother, J.L. Denton, Jr.; niece, Rhonda Gehrmann; 1 great-niece, 2 great-great nieces and many friends.
