MARY B. EDWARDS

November 15, 1950 – January 8, 2023

LOUISBURG – Mary Belle Godwin Edwards, 72, of Louisburg, died Sunday afternoon at Wake Med.

Mary was a daughter of the late Jack and Josephine Rose Godwin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Junious “Tin Man” Edwards; sisters, Lucy Radford and Annie Marie Robertson; brothers, Bennie Godwin, Everette Godwin and Bunny Godwin.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm Thursday at Bunn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Tondee officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Judy Edwards; son, Timmy Edwards; sisters, Dorothy Young and Pattie Stegall; special nephew, Sam Radford and nieces and nephews.
