Marjorie Burnette Finch, 82, of Louisburg, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late William Busbee Burnette and Fannie Morton Burnette. Marjorie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Eugene Burnette, John Burnette, Pearl White, Ruby Poole, Hazel Haynes, Shirley Denny and Nellie Macrini.
Marjorie is survived by her husband, Roy Kimball Finch; daughter, Scarlett Edwards and her husband Thomas of Louisburg; brothers, William Burnette and his wife Mary Ann of Louisburg. Calvin Burnette of High Point; grandchildren, Sabrina Hoyle, Billy Thomas Edwards III; great-grandchildren, Allison Hoyle and Aubrey Hoyle.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Tanya Denton and Amedisys Hospice for the love and care they gave to Marjorie.
