MARGARET C. FAULKNER
May 5, 1942 – March 16, 2022
WARRENTON – Margaret Chamblee Faulkner, 79, of the Alert community, died Wednesday morning at her home.
Margaret was a daughter of the late Claude and Clellie D. Chamblee. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Faye Chamblee and Annie Belle Chamblee; brothers, Bruce Chamblee, Bill Chamblee and Charlie Chamblee. A funeral service will be 12 pm Friday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Faulkner Thorne Family Cemetery.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Douglas Faulkner; daughter, Lorrie Faulkner and partner Cale Smith of Louisburg; sons and daughter-in-law, William and Kathy Faulkner of Castalia, Larry Faulkner and his partner, Scott Haynes, Ed Faulkner all of Wilmington; brother, Bobby Chamblee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Charles Watkins, Clara Chamblee, Claudette and Elton Marshall, Dorothy and William Kaleel and Teresa Fowler all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Will Faulkner and wife, Casey, and Dustin Wiesner; great-grandchildren, Leland, Easton and Reed Faulkner; many nieces and nephews.
