LOUISE STRICKLAND WHITE

July 23, 1932 – September 14, 2024

Margaret Louise Strickland White, 92, of Bunn, passed away Saturday morning at her home.

Louise was the daughter of the late Zable Herman “Mutt” Strickland and Eula Pearl Strickland. She was preceded in death by her brother, Shelton Mullen.

Louise attended Troutman Beauty College in Raleigh where she graduated in 1964. She then opened her beauty shop in her home in Bunn. She will be remembered by many as one of the best beauticians in Bunn. She had the ability to make anyone who came to her look and feel their best. She was also a member of Bunn Baptist Church where she served as a helper in the nursery.

The family will hold a private service. Burial will take place at the Old Bunn Cemetery.

Louise is survived by her husband of 75 years, Jasper F. White; son, Larry White; daughter, Debbie White Bullock; sister, Clara Jean Murphrey and husband Yates; brothers Glen Strickland and wife Faye, Tony Strickland and wife Earline, and Kenneth Strickland; grandson Zachary White and wife Sarah; and great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Catherine White.

The family would like to thank the nurses with Amedisys Hospice for their love and care given to Louise.
