LEWTISHA P. BAKER

January 24, 1953 – April 24, 2024

Lewtisha Pendergraft Baker, 71, of Youngsville, died Wednesday afternoon at the S.E.C.U. Hospice House.

           Lewtisha was born in Wake County, she was a daughter of the late James Eugene and Metta Holmes Pendergraft. She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Baker; son, Dallas Lynn Beard, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn Caulk and Faye Marie Young; brothers, Eugene Pendergraft and Donald “Buddy” Pulley.

          A graveside service will be held 3 pm Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

          Lewtisha is survived by her daughter, Dawn B. Marlow and husband, Jason; brothers, Phillip Pendergraft and wife, Doris; Thomas Pendergraft and wife, Christina; sister, Barbara Ann Wadsworth; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
