KATHLEEN DENISE LEWIS

May 5, 1964 – March 11, 2026

Kathleen Denise Lewis, 61, of Zebulon, passed away Wednesday morning at her home. She was born in Wake County and was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Raper Lewis in 2020.

Denise loved good music, singing Karaoke, and was the lead singer in a rock band for 3 years when she was younger.  She enjoyed roller skating, ice skating and staying active as long as her health permitted.  She will be greatly missed by all who know her and we will see her again one day.

          A graveside funeral service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Middlesex, with Reverend James Pearce officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.

                   Denise is survived by her loving father, Woody Lewis and wife, Hope of Middlesex, brother Ronnie D. Lewis of Spring Hope; aunts, Marie Shuman of Youngsville, Lynn Faison and husband, George of Shallotte, Brenda Lewis of Wendell and numerous cousins.
