Justin Lane “Tank” Williams, 27, of Louisburg, NC passed away at his home Thursday, February 2, 2023.

Tank was a star athlete, excelling in wrestling and football at Louisburg High School before graduating from Bunn High School in 2013. He was an All-Conference Offensive Lineman and was voted Best Lineman in the Conference and made the State Playoffs in wrestling. Tank had a genuine and tender heart and loved his family and friends deeply.

Tank was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Jerry L. Williams, and maternal grandmother Alice Turnage.

Tank is survived by his mother, Kimberly G. Turnage; father, Jerry L. Williams II; brother, Jerry L. “Sport” Williams III; paternal grandmother, Sallie Gaskill; maternal grandfather, Carson Turnage; nephew, Hayden McKeithan and niece, Journi Williams.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at 2.p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2023, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
