Judy Kay (Cone) Marshburn
Obituary
Judy Kay Cone Marshburn, 80, of Knightdale, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday afternoon surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was the foundation of our family. She loved Jesus and her family more than anything. We will miss her and love her until we meet again.
Born in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Myrla Glover Cone. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by brothers, Roy C. Cone, Jr., and Ray Cone; sisters, Geraldine Cone, Daphine Knowles, Doris Ray and Mae Whitley.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Grady Marshburn; children, Grady Marshburn, Jr. and wife Susan of Clayton, Tammy Marshburn Poole and husband, Greg of Knightdale and Keith Marshburn and wife Jennifer of Knightdale; grandchildren, Candi, Casey, Kayla, Trevor, Tyler, Luke, and Wyatt; great granddaughter, Cora Jane.
A private entombment will be held in the Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum on Thursday.
