JIMMY W. EDWARDS

August 23, 1940 – December 19, 2022

LOUISBURG – Jimmy Wheeler Edwards, 82, of Louisburg, died Monday Afternoon at his home.

Jimmy was a son of the late Morton Lee and Jessie Mae Dickerson Edwards. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Peoples and Jean Maynoard; brothers, Louis Edwards and Leon Edwards.

A memorial service will be 11 am Friday, December 23, 2022 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Eloise Robbins Edwards; sister, Virginia E. Roberson and sister-in-law, Sylvia T. Edwards both of Henderson; beloved friends, James Hudson, Jr., Jerry Ayscue, Jimmy Nelms and Deborah Freeman.

I would like to thank all of his care givers for everything they did for him his last days. Barbara Sanders, Denise Taylor, Chasity Lundberg & Tamara Maxbauer, Ana Marie Schumitta.
