JIMMY S. STRICKLAND

May 11, 1944 – July 18, 2024

LOUISBURG – Jimmy Sidney Strickland, 80, of Louisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday.    

Jimmy was the son of the late Sidney Oliver Strickland and Lillian Pearce Strickland Moody.

Jimmy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Angie Strickland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Darrell Wood; Swannie and Ricky Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Anita Strickland; granddaughter, Lillie Grace Strickland; his former wife, Janie Howell Raper and many special nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Rock Spring Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
