February 14, 1991 - February 16, 2024

Jessica Leigh Simons Lyon, 33, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday evening.

Jessica was a loving and dedicated mother to her four sons.

Jessica is survived by her sons, Elijah Lyon, Ezra Lyon, Emory Hope and Emmett Hope; fiancé, Brandon Rickner; mother and step-father, Elina Rowlett and Ronnie Alford; sister, Hailey Hood; brother and sister-in-law, Hunter and Miaha Hood; many aunts, uncles and cousins.     

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lyon – Hope Family Fund, 353 Mullen Road, Bunn, NC 27508 for the care of her children.
