Jesse Ray “Buddy” Burton, 52, of Franklinton, died Saturday afternoon at Louisburg Nursing Center.

Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Ann Beckelhymer; and step-mother, LaNel Hall.

Buddy is survived by his daughters, Kayla Mays, Cassidy Calamaco and Kennedy Burton; father, Lonnie Burton; step-father, Donald E. Hall; sisters, Nikki (Ron) Pierce and Jessica Jones; brothers, Tommy (Shelby) Burton; Paul (Stephanie) Burton and Jeremy (Violet) Hall; granddaughter, Amaryllis Mia Calamaco; niece, Hanna Burton and nephew, Thomas Burton.      

A celebration of life will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Pocomoke Cowboy Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.          

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
