JEANNINE G. EARP
June 22, 1946 – March 6, 2024
Amy Jeannine Green Earp passed away on March 6, 2024 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Wake County on June 22, 1946 to the late J. M. Green, Jr. and Doris Mitchell Green.
She worked at Nationwide Insurance, G&S Trucking Service, and Clayton Primary School as a Teacher’s Assistant.
She was a faithful reader of Bible Devotions and sent cards to the shut-ins at Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church. She also set up funds for the purchase of Bibles for new members.
Jeannine is preceded in death by her only son, Larry Scott Earp.
She is survived by her sisters, Saundra G. Freeman (Ray) and Edith G. Nowell; brother, Eddy H. Green (Val); nieces Jeanne S. Tomlinson, Laura S. Shidal, Denise G. Driver, Shannon Green, Emma Grant, Gabrielle Grant, and Sandy N. Nowell; nephews Jason M. Green, Paul M. Nowell, and Glen Holland; great-nieces Carolina Tomlinson, Ada Shidal, Sophie Shidal, Tiffany Driver, Emily D. Risnar, and Sarah Driver; and great nephews John Michael Tomlinson, Alex Driver, Jackson Morgan, and Nathan Morgan.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 11 from 12:45 – 1:45 pm in the fellowship hall of Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
