JEAN H. BAKER

June 11, 1937 – October 23, 2022

Jean H. Baker, 85 of the Bunn Community passed away Sunday morning at Franklin Oaks after a long battle with dementia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac & Sally Horton, and sister Pat Horton May.

Jean enjoyed working in her yard daily, especially with flowers or spending afternoons watching and feeding the birds & squirrels in the back yard. One thing she thoroughly enjoyed was the Senior Singles Dance where she would listen to music, dance, and meet there with friends.

She is survived by her daughters Angie (Tim) Tharrington of Castalia, NC; Cheryl (Steve) Ransdell of Louisburg, NC; son Larry (Kristi) Baker of Youngsville, NC. Grandchildren are Matthew (Leah) Ransdell, Garrett (Kristen) Ransdell, and Brooke (Isaac) Snyder; (3) great-grandchildren.

A special Thank You to all the staff of Franklin Oaks for their love, care, and support.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
