June 9, 1945 – November 7, 2022

LOUISBURG – Jarvis Grandy McDonald, Jr., 77, of Louisburg, died Monday morning.

Jarvis is the son of the late Jerry and Lela F. McDonald. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and the Army and a retired farmer.

A graveside service will be held 3:30 pm Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Lancaster Memorial Park. Jarvis requested that everyone dress casual. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home.

Jarvis is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Faye T. McDonald; daughters, Dawn McDonald and Sandy McDonald; adopted sons, Jesse Romero and Dario Hernandez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Johnny Hayes; Diane Dill; Donna and Spencer Scarboro; grandchildren, Colby, Carter and Delaney.

The family would like to thank Jarvis’ caregivers for the dedicated care they gave to him.
