Janet Privette (Phipps) Eddins

JANET P. EDDINS

May 24, 1939 – August 19, 2022

Janet Phipps Privette Eddins, 83, passed away Friday morning a WakeMed after a brief illness.  She was born in Johnston County, the daugher of the late Carl U. Phipps and Mamie Boykin Phipps.  Janet was a very head strong, independent and private person. She loved her family with all her heart.  She work for the State of North Carolina and retired with 30 years of service as a data entry operator.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Phipps, Roger Phipps and Dr. Carl Phipps.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in law, Jeffrey and Patricia Privette of  the Pearces Community; grandchildren, Christopher Privette and Lisa Layton (Gary); great-grandchildren, Larissa Driver, Emmit Layton, Hannah and Hailey Privette.

There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
